Toasted Pumpkin Seeds
Take your pumpkin seeds to a whole new level by toasting them. In no time, you have a tasty topper for most any dish, or simply a snack on its own!

Spread shelled pumpkin seeds across the surface of a dry cast iron pan. Bring to a medium heat. With a wooden spatula, keep the pumpkin seeds moving around the pan. Keep moving them around for 2-3 minutes, or until they begin to look toasted, but not burned, and give us a nutty scent. Sprinkle with salt if desired. Let cool completely, then place in a jar for storage.
