Unlocking Potential

Within any seed sits potential. Until germinated, that potential remains locked away. The question, then, becomes, "how do we free that potential"? With the proper environment and care, any seed will gladly open and grow into life. The evolution of its species depends on it.

Taking time to nurture and sprout seeds creates life. Whether sprouting a literal seed of food or a metaphorical seed of a dream, you increase life energy.

As we near the end of Winter, we can feel this potential in life all around us. Sit still in that potential. Absorb the magic of it. The zinging sense of vital energy growing. Become aware of how you can more fully invite that potential into your life. Tune into those areas of potential within you. Recognizing the seeds you have planted will help you to properly discern which ones to tend to and invite into the space of the living.

Food

Sprouting seeds can seem like a daunting task to add to your kitchen routine, but is really simple. I promise! It is a super easy way to make your food more alive, increase digestibility, and make nutrients more bioavailable.

I'm beginning the conversation by sharing about sprouting buckwheat. A super easy way to begin your sprouting adventure! Watch my video here to learn all about it and stay tuned for more fun sprouting ideas coming soon. (Keep an eye on my Instagram stories!)

How Do You Eat Sprouted Buckwheat?

Lots of posts coming to my IG account right now, but, essentially, I usually eat it raw and treat it like a grain in my food. For example, I make a cereal bowl (pictured below) with the buckwheat as the "grain". I also recently used it as the "rice" for a taco bowl and added it to a salad to provide a more grainy texture.
